The best ones to me are present in scenes where the audience is trusted more, or seduced into fear. For me the highlight is the actual/model hedge maze scene with the Bartok music. Not viscerally horrific, like many of the choices here, but perfectly spinetingling and compelling. Seems to work every time! The driving scene too, with the chilling female vocals evokes awe/foreboding, and that scene with Jack seated with Danny in the bedroom, reassuring his son always gives me such a feeling of dread.

The people in general stand accused of minor crimes and incompetence. What person can move on without sentencing? What sentencing has ever been so vast? The need for a future has been denied on both accounts and any real sentencing denies the possibility of a future. The problem of Equal Opportunity in the job market after any crime cannot be solved with the stroke of a pen but exist in the minds and hearts of employers. What is the integrity of a system that cannot promise or provide opportunities or jobs after a crime has been committed? A man cannot sentence or punish himself because the need becomes a social vacuum and he must carry weight, therefore he cannot enjoy life. A guilty man would turn to religion but then finds out religion is no longer the law and his sentencing grows there. Therefore, rebellion ensues until the guilt is covered up so they can move on but that further eliminates hope. What they need is a kind politician, equipped with slaps on the wrist and moral lesson plans that frees the red tape of their futures but there is no one. Most crimes are relatives of thievery in one way or another but sometimes the articles of thievery cannot be returned or are more hypothetical, irrational, or theoretically blind to its articles. If no punishment lives out its course a future still ensues but becomes questionable and, also irrational for the individual and their victim or victims...

I went to see this movie today, November 8, 2019. I really enjoyed enjoyed this movie, and it was somewhat scary at times. I was disappointed a little by the ending. No going to tell you to spoil it because you will have to see the movie. I've always admired the Scottish actor, Ewan McGregor. I can see the young actress Kyliegh Curran becoming more famous after her being in this movie. Rebecca Ferguson was great in this movie as well.
